Judge Jeanine Nemesi LaVille

Judge LaVille was appointed to the 61st District Court bench in July 1995. She is a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Michigan, having worked in the United States Attorney's Office from 1982 to 1996, primarily in the criminal division.

She is a graduate of Notre Dame Law School and served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Berrien County from 1978 to 1982.

She has served as an instructor in trial advocacy at the Department of Justice Legal Education Institute, the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan and the Hillman Advocacy Program for the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan.
